Our current property, where St. Bartholomew's has been located for the past 24 years or so, is needed for the highway improvement project and is being sold to the State of North Carolina under the provisions of eminent domain law. The first Sunday after Easter (04/27/2025) will be our last day in the current building, after which we will be praising God in our new temporary location at 4110 Dr. M.L.K. Jr Blvd, New Bern, NC 28562. St. Bartholomew's has purchased land at 2960 Old Airport Rd, just three and a half miles from our current location, and God willing and with his blessing, we intend to build a new church at that location over the next couple of years. We’ve all enjoyed worshipping in our current building and we thank God for all the good he’s done in our parish and in our lives. We look forward to this change in buildings as an opportunity for growth and blessings as we continue to share God’s love, and preach the good news of the Gospel to those around us.
